Nepal PFM-MDTF Strengthening Civil Society Organizations' use of Social Accountability to improve PFM in Nepal

The development objective is to strengthen the transparency, efficiency, and inclusiveness of three specific areas of public financial management (PFM) in 10 districts of Nepal through fostering the use of different social accountability approaches by Nepali CSOs. The three PFM areas are: (a) national budget planning, dissemination, and analysis, (b) local (district, municipal and village) budget planning, dissemination and analysis, and (c) local monitoring of procurement, budget execution and service performance.
