F.a: Shanti: Community health care project
The project has four outcomes: facilitate the communities and stakeholders for further improvement of the sanitation situation of the communities (Total Sanitation), institutionalization of the health works particularly maternal and child health. The secon d outcome is related to improving livelihood status of the marginalized ethnic and minority communities which was started in the CHEP III. The third outcome is to continue facilitating the community organizations formed in the earlier project to enable and institutionalize them so that they can sustain the basic development activities in their communities and to realize their fundamental rights. As a fourth outcome, the project will make effort to mainstream key cross cutting issues such as peace, disabilit y, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), gender and social inclusion (GESI). This includes capacity building of the project staff, sensitization of the communities and stakeholders on these issues and incorporating important issues in the project activities.
